Coach Darryl has been working with my 13 yr old daughter who was new to basketball for the past 10 months. He has done an amazing job helping her with her shot development, ball handling, foot work, and individual one on one basketball moves. He has helped her with her self-confidence in becoming a well rounded basketball player specifically with the ability to be a two way player. We as parents appreciate his patience, balanced feedback, and dedication.

Coach Darryl is a great developer, and passionate about his craft. He has worked with my oldest daughter since she was 8 years old (now 13). He has transformed her into an amazing shooter. Her form and accuracy is always praised, and it is all due to Coach Darryl’s patience and ability to meet her where she was when they first started working together and developing her to where she is at currently. He has been working with my 9 year old daughter for a year now, and has transformed her shot in that short period of time. In her first season of playing organized basketball she was quickly identified as a shooter. If you are looking for someone who genuinely loves teaching the game and can build your child’s skill from nothing to something, Coach Darryl is a great choice. He makes it very simple to learn and will meet your child where they are to help them reach their goals for basketball.

Our son and daughter were interested in playing basketball, but did not have the fundamental basketball skills. Coach Darryl has been working with our children for the past year and their basketball skills and basketball IQ have improved significantly. Like many kids, our children wanted to be great shooters, but Coach Darryl has emphasized the importance of developing other skills such as dribbling, passing, and situational awareness during game. We also like that Coach Darryl encourages good sportsmanship and a strong work ethic. Our children’s confidence on the basketball court is tangible based on Coach Darryl’s instruction, guidance, and practice regimen. As parents, Coach Darryl has been easy to work with and communicates with us regularly regarding skill development and leadership. We highly recommend him!

My daughter decided she wanted to learn basketball during the pandemic. With no leagues available, we stumbled upon Coach Darryl. He is quite simply the best coach that I have encountered in any sport for any of our kids. He coaches with attention to detail, and in a style that is thoughtful, receptive and effective. His focus on the fundamentals of shooting has given her a foundation of shot making that is commonly the envy of others. I could not recommend him more highly. He is excellent.
